Xylitol in Pediflor Kidz toothpaste reduces plaque formation and cavities: Bacteria in dental plaque use sugars to grow and form a sticky layer on the tooth surface. Plaque-forming bacteria cannot digest Xylitol like other sugars, neither can they produce acids to create cavities.
Xylitol in Pediflor Kidz toothpaste helps remineralisation of tooth enamel: Xylitol increases saliva pH in the mouth and encourages mineral-rich saliva to flow.
